The Role
Evershot Farms Ltd is a 3,300ha mixed farming business located between Yeovil and Dorchester.
We are recruiting an experienced Operator / General Farm Worker to join the team. Working closely with the Arable Manager to carry out the in-house cropping operations, producing high quality forage for our dairy herds and AD Plant. We run modern equipment with a regular replacement policy.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Crop establishment & cultivations
- Spraying & Fertilising
- Slurry/ FYM handling
- Grassland operations
- Machinery maintenance
- General Estate maintenance
- Relief cover for biogas or feeding cows
- Accurate record keeping.

The candidate will have:
- Drilling and spraying experience (essential)
- Hold PA1 & PA2
- Full UK driving licence
- Be self-motivated
- Have practical communication skills and be a team player.
This role is not eligible for UK Visa Sponsorship. Successful applicants will need to have a pre-existing Right to Work in the UK in order to be offered an employment contract.
