Position Assistant Farm Manager Location Stamford, Lincolnshire No. Required 1 Period Permanent full-time

The Role

Due to retirement of a long-serving, valued employee an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Farm Manager to work closely with the Farm Manager on a 2,500ha arable farm.

The role and personal qualities include.
• Organising a small regular team with additional seasonal employees.
• Capable of problem solving, working on your own initiative.
• Outstanding logistical skills, allied with an eye for detail.
• Must be computer literate, preferably with experience with Gatekeeper and Excel.
• Previous experience of large-scale crop production and environmental schemes.
• BASIS and PA1/PA2 would be an advantage.
• Ongoing professional and technical development will be available.
