Position Corn Carter Location Kent No. Required 1 Period Early July - End October 2025

The Role

Velcourt Ltd (Hadlow Contracting) comprises 1200ha arable including extensive countryside stewardship and SFI areas spread over two neighbouring estates. 80ha Top Fruit with picking commencing in September. Casual worker required throughout picking until late October.

The role will include:

  • Corn carting using Puma 165 and 14t trailers.
  • Mowing and subsoiling
  • Other general farm work around harvest operations
  • Drive off-road forklift in the orchards during picking.

Full UK Driving Licence required

Telehandler licence and forklift counter-balance certificate preferred (but training can be provided to the right candidate).

Minimum 18 years old

Applicants must be able to show evidence of the right to work in the UK.
